Once I retire to grandmother’s house, I wish to be a freelance illustrator for magazines. I love the illustrations in cooking and sociology magazines like Lucky Peach, the New Yorker and Cricket Magazine, so I am generating work in all of those styles to generate a body of work for tear sheets.

The greatest difference between illustration and storyboarding is that light sources matter, so it will be about five year of practicing tonal drawing and painting before I am up to speed to illustrate the next great pulp fiction cover. In the meantime, enjoy my studies. After all, often times, an artist’s best ideas are developed in the nascency of a chosen practice. Just ask Vincent Van Gough.

Your work is so inspiring to my young artist!
Keep the sharing the beauty of art.
